Apparently ‘fribble frabble’ has something to do with being drunk. I’m not presently intoxicated. Actually blogging while intoxicated can lead to embarrassing things. I did that once and a politician I mentioned commented on my blog. At the time I was a public servant and nearly cacked myself -being apolitical and all that. I’m no longer a public servant and I’m not going to mention his name because I don’t want him commenting again as he is a twat. But he has been mentioned in relation to a film star.
I’m still working on my fantasy series (Silverlands), the first of which is Argenterra, published under Donna Maree Hanson. I thought the third book was coming along so slowly and crapily but I can say I’m very pleased with the progress now. I’m up to 62,000 words (halfway) and I’m planning to write more today. I’ve had some great ideas and it’s working. I think it’s now in better shape than book 2, which is awaiting a revision after beta reading comments.
I lost the map of Argenterra I had, although it’s not a good map. Some may even say it’s not a map! But now I have to draw a new one and make it make sense and have scale and oh dear god…
I’ve also got to do some sketches for the cover of book two and three for the cover artist that I should have done weeks ago. I was forestalled by the PhD.
I’m expecting the edits for Dani’s Invoked soonish. After that I don’t have too many Dani Kristoff writing plans. I have another book in mind for the Spellbound in Sydney series, but I’m not sure there’s a market for more of them. I have to think up something else if Dani is to have a romance writing career. I have two possible projects. I’ve started Changling Curse which is the sequel to The Sorcerer’s Spell and I also started a contemporary romance that I could put out under Dani’s name. Or hell…I could polish that bloody SF romance Cold Soldier.
What do you know blogging fribble frabble can be useful.Cold Soldier it is.
BTW if you are coming to the RWA conference in August I’ll be there and I’ll be one of the authors signing. I’ve also booked for the ARRA conference in February 2016.
