NaNoWriMo – Day three

So day three I got up reasonably early to write. I did 700 words and then I had other things to do, like bake food to take to my daughters. After that I visited my sick mother and then came home. I didn’t start to write again until after dinner. What I did have to my advantage though was a next scene. I left myself a few hints as to what was happening next. That idea got to float around in my brain all day, fermenting, deepening etc. So when I did sit down again, I wrote about 2300 words.  Wham! Bam!

So grand total on day three 6500 words. I like to bank some words because I know I won’t keep this pace up, unless I have another scene ready.  I didn’t touch my uni projects today. I thought about them but I want to consider them further before finishing them off and submitting them.

But gee, Spiritbound is coming along fine at 6500 words. That’s 6500 more words of a novel than I had on Friday. Go me!
